Subrata Saha


Subrata Saha (born: 6th January, 1975) is a painter from Bengal. 

Currently, he works as a painter, participating in workshops and exhibitions in the country. His art work is a reflection of deformation of the natural elements of the environment. He believes that there is an existence of life within each and every colour.

Subrata Saha in 1998-2002  completed his Five Years Diploma in Visual Art, from Inner Eye College of Art, Kolkata,  2001-2002   Appreciation of Indian Art, from The Ram Krishna Mission, Institution of Culture, Golpark ,   Kolkata.  in 2005, ‘Charukala Parichay’ from Rajya Charukala Parsad, Information of Cultural Affairs, Govt. of  W.B.,  in 2012, “Film Appreciation Course” From Chalachchitra Satabarsha Bhaban. Deptt. Of  Information  Cultural Affairs, Govt. of  W.B.   His proffetional achivement are 2007,Certificate of  Merit ,South Central Zone Cultural Center ,Nagpur.  2007,Manab Jamin 6th All India Art Exhibition,Shankar Dutta Memorial Bronze Medal Award.  2006 ,2005 ,Reflection of Another day (RAD) & Virasat Art present ‘Aranya’ Award .  2005, Salil Kumar Acharya Chowdhury Memorial  Award from Indian Society of Oriental Art.  2004, santosh kumar Chongdar Memorial Award from Indian Society of Oriental Art.  2004, ‘Nirman’ B D Bangur Endowment Award.  2004, Eastern Regional Art Exhibition,Camlin Art Foundation Award.  2003 ,President of The Society Award from Indian Society of Oriental Art.  2004, 2003,2002, Avantika Regional Painting  Award . 2002,Governor  Award from West Bengal State Academy of Dance Drama Music & Visual Art.  2001, ‘Sanjuti’ Award from Eminent artist group Kolkata. 1998 -2002 College Award from Inner Eye College of Art.
