Ghuri

Debjani uniquely crafts and designs and recreates memories of childhood stories, sepia tinted yet rouse those beautiful child in us. We Calcuttans love iterating and reiterating stories of Tagore, Ray, Victoria Memorial and always ready to walk down the Red Road and take a break for a piping hot cup of tea. It's never gets dull and monotonous and we reinvent them during our addas. We keep talking about our mother and how she would make those luchi and kosha mangsho for our family picnic outside in the day shine and delicious khichuri inside when it rained. Either way the neighborhood neri dog never goes unfed. In every daydream I'm back on that slide.  At bed time we close the doors over the entrance, already looking forward to the sunrise and the chance to play all over again.
